I happened to be looking at the Cincinnati LUG website (clug.org). They
currently use four lists: announce, tech, programming and talk.
Tech is for config questions etc and programming for anything development
related. News and politics in talk....not a bad arrangement.

I have to say, I'm not convince that we really have a problem which requires
fixing. So one argument got out of control...but deal. Welcome to free
speech. So what if tempers flare every three or four months? Welcome to a
community - this stuff happens. Was this really such a burden on anyone
that administrative action is really needed?

And those Cinci guys seem to be way too organized....they have dues, bylaws
and a board of admins. Yikes
