I'm running RedHat 5.2 with Kernel 2.2.13 from tar files;
glibc-2.0.7-29, libc-5.3.12-28 from RPM packages.
I went and grabbed a copy of glibc-2.1.2.tar.gz from gnu.org last night.
We'll see if I don't completely hose my system trying to install it...
