Am I asking too much? Microcenter *does* have a 2-way monitor/mouse/keyboard switch. Under $50? You might be asking for too much, at least at microcenter. I got one there recently, and I forget how much I paid for it. Datacomm Warehouse might have a bigger selection and lower prices. (But you can't gawk at the prices they're asking for original AT&T UNIX manuals.) Don't forget to add in the extension cables; I think I paid ~$10 each for two sets. I'm quite unhappy with the setup because the monitor cables appear to be unshielded. I'm running X at 1024x768, and when going through the switch, there is a noticeable amount fuzz and ghosting on the display (the kind that looks like it induces nasty headaches). Using the monitor extension cables without going through the box actually makes the problem *much* worse. I suppose the problem isn't as bad at lower resolutions, though.
