Glad to know I don't have a defective unit, just a defective design. :-) Unfortunately, the net result as I see it is that if I'm trying to switch to something that isn't fully powered and recognized, then I lose the kbd/mouse on my main (read high uptime) box. That kinda sucks. How much do powered switch boxes go for, anyway?
