Probably. My wife's a mechanical engineer, and every year she goes to the Stapp Crash Conference. This conference permits people to present information on stuff like this. Some three years ago they presented a couple of papers on this, and to this day she won't talk about it. Apparently they showed some pretty graphic aftermath photos of small children who were in accidents where the airbag deployed.... Anyway, just wanted to point out that the people who know how airbags work are indeed aware of the problems, and they do get the word out. Of course, not being top executives of Fortune 100 firms, they don't have much pull in Congress, and that's where Mr. Nader & clan step in. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
