With the meeting held in one of the suburbs (whether in PA or NJ), many (most?) people have to pass thru Phila, or go around it, to get to the suburb in question. So why just have the meeting in Philly (which is probably the most centralized spot, if you think of the *area* - Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery counties, and the closer Jersey counties - Camden, Glouster, etc). I seriously doubt we're getting a whole lot of folks coming in from much farther away. Ans Center City Phila is probably the easiest destination to get to in the city, since all the major roadways in the area seem to eventually lead to CC (more or less, anyway), as does all the public transportation. How many of us take public transportation to the meetings, anyway? I don't drive, so I take a Septa bus. I know of at least a couple others who take a Septa train. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://plug.nothinbut.net Announcements - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.nothinbut.net/mail/listinfo/plug
