Well, the latest version of LRP is based on the 2.2.16 kernel, and uses ipchains, and can be extended to work with port-forwarding to a DMZ, as well as using IPSec for making a VPN. Not Mandrake based, but still - might be worth looking into. Extremely secure. I prefer this site, over the official LRP site - http://lrp.steinkuehler.net. But also see http://c0wz.steinkuehler.net/ and http://www.linuxrouter.org. > Okay, before this question seems incongruous, I'm at a new job. :) > > Our other administrator and I have decided to use a Linux box for our > firewall needs.
