On the Linux side, I've always used "SSH" available at http://www.ssh.org/ IT supports both SSH1 and SSH2. It is free for use for Evaluation, Non-commercial, and University use. The latest version is 2.2.0, but there is a stable 1.2.30 which only supports SSH1. The tar.gz includes an easy to follow README instructions. I didn't have a problem installing it on my system. As far as NT SSH clients go, I've found the best to be SecureCRT by VanDyke http://www.vandyke.com/ This program is, however, not free. Theres a 30 day evaluation copy (full-featured) available for download from their website. And if there were any reason why you really wanted to use such a program and din't want to pay for it, I'm sure theres a way to "crack" the program so it runs without paying for it ;-) Hope these suggestions help.
