I believe the default gcc on the system I'm trying to build it on is 2.95.2 (.deb is 2.95.2-13), and gcc272 (2.7.2.3-15) is also installed. (Yes, I'm aware of potential issues with gcc 2.95.x, but I'd heard that most of the stuff was resolved already.) Would some output be helpful, or should I just sit tight a while?
