All I could find was the promotion of a political agenda. There is no real "traffic updates" section -- the best you can get is to pay attention to the updates and news "1:00 100+ Activists gathering at 15th & Market" = dont try to drive near 15th & market. read between the lines. My personal impression is that the lines say "dont bother to drive downtown at all." Actually the radio traffic coverage has been pretty good, I think... I was listening to it when I was driving down to a park-n-ride lot before. The probelm with the website is ya cant expect them to have a live-real-time traffic update... the way the police and the protesters keep moving about -- you never know when a route is going to be blocked off. The radio news at least has about 3 helicopters up in the air.. but you have to wait for their timeslot to hear what is being blocked off, and by then, if you are driving downtown, you may already be on the road with no space to turn off... You also need to realize this is not ALL protesters and police... on Monday I was driving downtown when I was blocked off waiting for a MUMMERS parade at 3:45 on Market street!. You also have a lot of pedestrians walking about making it harder than normal to get through intersections... ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
