Nick, did you try using the option that only brings the panel up when you mouse to the edge of the screen you've set it to? I think it's auto-hide or something like that. I am using RH6.2 w/ Helix Gnome 1.2, and I would like to remove the panel at the bottom for more screen space. I have already moved it to either side with those cute little arrows, but I am asking if anyone knows of an option to totally remove it. Thanks in advance for any help.
