RE: [PLUG] Gnome Question

Just to throw my 2 cents in, you can't completely remove the panel in Gnome, you must always have at least one of them. But, like Tim said, you could hide it.

Nick, did you try using the option that only brings the panel up when you
mouse to the edge of the screen you've set it to? I think it's auto-hide or
something like that.

	I was wondering. I am using RH6.2 w/ Helix Gnome 1.2, and I would
like to
remove the panel at the bottom for more screen space. I have
already moved
it to either side with those cute little arrows, but I am asking if
anyone
knows of an option to totally remove it. Thanks in advance for any
help.
	Nick
