Hi Jeff, Actually, I have alot of experience w/ home wiring. Hubby and I wired our entire house with an MDF and IDF (main and intermediate distribution frames), and have ports in every room, combined with phone and electric. He pulled the cables, and did the phone and electric. I made the cables and set up the patch panels and network configuration. I can't confess to knowing a thing about audio, but he certainly does. In the alternative, there's a local company called Black Box that I've worked with. But really, it's not necessary. Cabling for the home is easy, and we can walk you through it. Besides, it's fun, and you'll learn tons. Email me backchannel if you like. I'm not sure what the best way to do audio is, and it's not the subject of this list. I do know that 100baseT is picky enough (turn radii, connectors, etc.) that I'd rather not do it myself, preferring someone who can test stuff before the drywall goes up and cements the decisions. Anyway, anyone have any experience with commercial companies that do this sort of thing? Or enough expertise to help me do this on my own without worrying about degraded signals and so forth from amateur work? -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson <http://www.purple.com/jeff/> ---------------------------------------------------------------- The information transmitted is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or privileged material.
