Software Packaging Engineer Position

eCal Corporation, currently has a need for a Software Packaging Engineer.
The candidate selected will be responsible for developing and producing
installation and configuration software and release documentation for a
packaged, shippable software product. The product is hosted on Sun Solaris
systems, and requires administration consoles, setup procedures, and release
notes to aid product installation by our customers. Candidate should have 3
to 5 years experience in software product installation and administration
scripting, with emphasis on software deployed on multiple Solaris Unix
systems. Our application is hosted on server networks of 1 to 20 hosts, so
experience should be had in software deployment in distributed
architectures. Strong knowledge of Perl and other scripting language is
required, both for text-based initial installation scripts, and for Apache
plug-ins for HTTP-based server management.
