I know the original poster was talking about a 266 Pentium II, so his motherboard won't benefit from this, but lately I've found numerous sources for 256MB PC133 simms, under $100, after shipping. I've ordered two so far from www.upgradeplanet.com, and have been pretty happy with the turnaround time (and $90 *after* two-day shipping isn't too bad either!) The catch? You need a specific VIA chipset, in my case the one found in my ASUS A7V (great board btw!).
