Does the CD contain just a single file ending in .iso? :) An .iso is similar to the floppy disc images that are on the CD, in that they contain a bit-by-bit image of what's on the CD, including directory structure and all that. It doesn't contain that *data*, it contains the actual *filesystem*. Basically, you need to tell your CD-recording software that you don't want to burn that *file*, but that you want to burn the *image* contained within the file. A bit more information on how to do this on Linux, Windows, and MacOS is available at <http://cdimage.debian.org/faq.html>. If I've misunderstood the problem, let me know. :) -- Bill Jonas | "In contrast to the What You See Is What You bill@billjonas.com | Get (WYSIWYG) philosophy, UNIX is the You http://www.billjonas.com/ | Asked For It, You Got It operating system." http://www.debian.org/ | --Scott Lee, as quoted by Lamb and Robbins ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
