RE: [PLUG] Programming Question

Cool info. Now...we need to figure out how program can access it as a USER
rather than as root. A friend is developing a TCP/IP product for a recently
announced RAD development tool for Linux and it seems that the tool
currently goesn't support a GetTickCount() type of function. And, libc
doesn't seem to support it either.

dear charles:
there is a real time clock in linux. the write up is in
    /usr/src/linux/Documentation/rtc.txt.
I have it in 2.2.18. It is not in all documentations. i can
send you a copy if you do not have the write up.
