[PLUG] Remote X lient kills server

Today I logged into my U.Penn account from home(Mandrake 7.2 stock
install with Matrox G400 Max DH) and launched xv - my Xserver got killed
immediately getting back to the kdm prompt. I tried different remote
machines, different user accounts at home - and different X applications -
all with the same result. /var/log/messages say:

Feb 24 14:19:43 ribhu kdm[708]: Server for display :0 terminated
unexpectedly: 1
Feb 24 14:19:43 ribhu kernel: mtrr: base(0xe2000000) is not aligned on a
size(0x
Feb 24 14:19:47 ribhu last message repeated 3 times

I'll appreciate any help ASAP as I need remote X access for my work.
