You probably are missing or have the wrong default gateway on the box with the ppp connection. If you look at the routing table on your debian box, you should have an entry with a destination of default (or 0.0.0.0) with the other end of your PPP link or a router in your ISP's network as the gateway. You can add one manually by doing route add default gw <my_gateway_name_or_ip> ppp0 Steve Morgan Wajda-Levie wrote: > Recently I've been having a rather peculiar problem with my Internet connection. > I can connect without any problems, but when I do connect, I can only access IPs > that begin with the same three numbers as mine (in other words, 206.20.145.0). > I've tried pinging a number of addresses meeting that pattern, with results. ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
