True.  But, today's power supplies are much better designed that those of
the past.  Even a high end "box" shouldn't run you more than $100. And all
you really get for your money is a nicer looking box.

A word of caution about using cheap cases along with cheap power
supplies.  I once had a cheap ps put 120V to the mother board frying the
