[PLUG] update on lilo issues

I fixed the issue. It was user malfunctioning. Fortunately that is
something fixable, unfortunately it can be the last thing I hit on in
trouble shooting. I did indeed skip a step, or perhaps a chapter, and I
would like to take this opportunity to remind all of us to RTFM.
