Some time ago someone wrote me that dhcp is totally in client space.
Then what is CONFIG_IP_PNP_DHCP: under networking options in the kernel
compile. Without this turned on I was not able to get dhcp to work when
I was setting up my dsl connection though i had the dhcp package
installed.
