Sounds like an old real x-terminal to me...NCD and Tektronix made a lot of
them. Or you could get a cheap 486 or something and set it up to netboot
from a floppy and run X. Places to find old xterms (most of them are only
256 color) are university or business surplus....ebay may be a good bet
too.
