Hi everyone- I am a soon to be new member, and, I have a question. I am playing with Yellowdog Linux on a Macintosh Powerbook G3 1999 My problem is, the machine is on for about 22 hours each day (depending on what I am doing) and, during this time, everything is running at full power. What I want to do (and want to know how to do) is to use the pmud (power management daemon) to make the drive spin down. I didn't know if anyone has had any luck with this so far. Thanks -Brad -- Have I got a long way to run -- Collective Soul ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
