I'm tired of not being able to view/listen to all these videos and sound files that my Windows and Mac comrades get to watch. The latest was an asf file (apparently sound only, apparently pretty amusing). I donloaded mplayer, but it was ornery and didn't totally want to run for me. I haven't had the best of luck with xanim producing good output, either, although I haven't tried it in a year or so. Can anyone suggest ways to watch such things on linux? Ideally I'd like to find a tool that just understands everything. I'll settle for a collection of things that each understand something... -- Jeff Jeff Abrahamson <http://www.purple.com/jeff/> ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
