Re: [PLUG] Rountripping redlining from M$Word through Start/OpenOffice

Then you are SOL - because you WILL NEED Office/Word!

StarOffice will import MS redlining fine, and record changes, but when
it comes time to export from StarOffice to MS, either:

a) when exporting from StarOffice as RTF, the redlining information is
lost

Because RTF doesn't support that information.

b) when trying to export as Word 97 from StarOffice, the program hangs,
and then has to be re-installed (!!).

Because StarOffice sucks?!? Have you tried OpenOffice instead?

So -- how do I roundtrip redlining from M$ Word through Star Office?

AFAIK, you don't! But you could try the latest builds of OpenOffice.
