Is this good or bad? On a Windows 2000 Server (I'm studying for an all-expenses-paid test. Why not?) a user can encrypt a file or directory (folder) using Micro$oft's Encryting File System (EFS). If the user becomes unavailable (get's laid off and decides to encrypt some important files) the administrator can decrypt the files. The question is this: Isn't that stupid? Why have encryption if someone can just decrypt your files at will? ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
