-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Has anyone tried getting an Ericsson R280LX cell phone working with the data cable (DRS-01) under Linux to allow wireless access to the Internet (albeit at 19.2kbps max)? It definitely works under Windows, but I haven't seen that anyone has tried it under Linux. Seems like it would work though, all I need to do is set up a ppp connection to /dev/ttyS0. BTW: Anyone tried the same with a Palm PDA? That would be VERY VERY cool to have wireless internet access with the larger screen and have ssh access as well. Background: AT&T, with their pocketnet service, provides unlimited access to their CDPD (data) network, using the microbrowser on the phone. I assume this would also apply to use of the nework via the data cable.
