i have a mitel SME server as my firewall/router/gateway/web server/email/server /etc. SME server uses RH7. It was very easy to configure it, which was done through a simple interface. i don't know specifically what it did or files it uses, but it does work. if you have a machine you can dedicate to the task, SME server makes it very easy have email, web and firewall services. -chris On Wednesday 23 January 2002 03:48 pm, you wrote: > Is anyone using Redhat to work with comcast? > > They are switching me over on Feb first, fun, and I need a way to route > to the network once its up. > > I was KINDA under the impression that they used PPPoE, but when I asked > the tech support guy that he, well, brain farted.
