It's actually fairly easy. Public transit is pretty direct, and so, for that matter, is driving. Personally, I like to drive it... and probably will be doing so.. so, at very least, I will have room on the way-up at least one of the days (I tend to stay at a friends place in hackensack when I go to the javits.) The good thing about driving: you can park a block or two from the javits center, ALL DAY for $10. You don't have to worry about leaving early, and can hit all the events (read:parties), and hang out with folks. ;) And, you can give other people rides should they need them. as far as public transit... it's septa r7 to trenton line, transfer to nj transit, go to... penn station(?) in nyc... then, you can take the subway, walk, catch a cab, take a bus.. I can't say enough about parking in NYC or their subway/public transit system. I personally love it. (Parking in NYC is a LOT easier than parking in center city Philadelphia - IMnshO) And their public transit is about 100 times better than ours, and cheaper. Speaking of which, when you get into penn station in NYC look for the tourist brochure/information booth and pick yourself up the public transit maps.. they are great... and free.... there are typically two maps... one for the bus system, and one for the subway system.. they are both excellent maps of manhattan and NYC.. once you get to know the subways, you probably wont have to use the busses as all, personally, I just like using the subways, haven't really figured out using the busses.. but then again, I've never really had to use them, I can get to a couple of blocks of wherever I want to go in Manhattan on the Subways. -- msimons@slackware.com INFORMATION*MEDIA*PHOTOGRAPHY msimonsmail@yahoo.com Creative Artists Resource Project: www.slackware.com/~msimons/arts/reuse/ A 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization Arts and Environmental Resource Network Shopping Online?
