I have an efficient networks ADSL modem sitting here that I used with
flashcom until they disappeared with my money.........:( I wonder if DCA.net
allows customer supplied modems ?

Hmm.  I checked dca.net's webpage, and it says

Verizon line activation
$60.00

Verizon DSL Self-Install Kit
$219.00

Maybe I should just give DCAnet a call (unless the DCAnet employees on
this list can clarify :))...
