Thanks Marc,

Sorry if I wasn't clear on what I wanted to do. At first I wanted to just 
get a server up and design the website, but now I think it would be better 
to learn Linux. I really like being able to go deeper into the computer but 
I'm afraid of not understanding and getting lost. I'm pretty sure I want to 
learn Linux inside and out as best I can and am just looking for a little 
direction. Thanks for the input, I'll take a look at slackware. I also found 
the project for making your own Linux that seems simple enough and 
entriguring http://www.linuxfromscratch.org Again thanks for the help!
