If anybody has questions about the 4K page errata, feel free to ask me.
For the simple answer, it does not affect current (Athlon MP/XP/4
[Palomino] and Duron 1GHz+ [Morgan]) CPUs. The Tbird Athlons, the older
Durons, and the Slot versions all had the bug in question. The
workaround, appending mem=nopentium into your boot, affects memory
handling in quite a few ways. Even if your CPU is not affected by the 4K
page bug, the workaround just might help you out anyway.
