[PLUG] free software and human rights


While surfing for news this morning I found this story that will interest
many advocates of free software.

Patrick Ball, now the deputy director of the science and human rights
program at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, not only
advocates the use of free software, but also demonstrates the power of facts
and quantitative analysis over propaganda and opinion.
