Database Architect:
We are looking for a highly skilled, highly motivated SQL Server Data
Architect to participate in database design, system configuration,
installation and security planning. The position will facilitate
database monitoring, backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and tuning for
reliability and performance. Duties will also include responsibility for
Linux based networks and web application servers (Apache).
Job Description:
Understanding of distributed web architecture: web server (http),
security (secure socket layer, encryption, etc.) e-commerce
(transactions), data base
services and interfaces (OLEDB/ADO/ODBC). Server databases : SQL, MYSQL,
PostgreSQL, COM, XML programming experience a plus. Experience
supporting data-driven Internet applications in a high traffic
environment.
Primary Responsibilities
* Implement data models and database designs
* Define and maintain SQL server baseline and
installation procedures
* Data base performance testing metrics
* Database monitoring, backup and recovery,
troubleshooting, and tuning for reliability
and performance

Web Application Programmer:
Our company is seeking individuals with 2 or more years experience in
web application programming, in a Linux/Apache environment, using PHP
and experience in SQL databases. Must be experienced in web
design/application development. This opportunity requires programming of
a web-based application on a LINUX platform running an Apache web
server. You will be responsible for application coding using HTML,
JavaScript and PHP.
Job Description:
Design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain, and update web based software
applications using PHP, MYSQL, HTML, XML, SOAP and other software tools.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle:
definition and analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing,
implementation and maintenance. Generate project documentation such as
user needs analysis, system requirements and design specifications,
project plan, and system implementation plans. The position requires
excellent organizational and analytical skills. This position is
assigned to a team, taking regular assignments from the Project Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and maintain database and web-based software
applications to meet the application's specification needs.
2. Participate in design and code reviews with other programmers and
management.
3. Provide support to productions applications including application
monitoring, problem troubleshooting and resolution, performance analysis
and tuning to ensure
maximum availability and reliability.
4. Maintain current knowledge of software development tools as they
relate to the business.
