I think that's a typo.
sun4m machines are sparc, not 68k.

sun2, sun3, sun3[exy] are 68k
sun4, sun4[ecmdu] are sparc.

all of the suns from the sun2 series up until the Ultra 5
use the same serial hardware, the ancient zilog 8530 chips.
the Ultra 5 and later use the siemens chip (which is not
yet supported by NetBSD).
