Then they should have done it right to begin with. Get rid of those
Micro$oft Web developers. Or at least make the error page a warning
page that other browsers might not work, then let us try. They might
even get free advice on correcting the resulting errors.
You used the phrase "HTML designers". That might be inaccurate. If
they coded based on HTML standards, the site would be accessible to
all browsers.
