Can you choose other ISPs? Ongoing costs? $39.95/month from Verizon for the line; $10 month to DCA as ISP. Yes, I believe you can use anybody as ISP; I was considering snip.net (out of New Jersey) before settling on DCA. Rebecca mentioned some unseemly large transfer fee; I don't recall paying this (or as large a fee), but I did mine 2 years ago now. There used to be DCA employees on this list; dunno if Andrew White is still an employee, or still on this list. 1-888-4DCANET is their number, or <http://www.dca.net> NOTE: just a satisfied customer, no other involvement with the company. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 7.0.4 -- QDPGP 2.68 Comment: http://community.wow.net/grt/qdpgp.html iQA/AwUBPP+2vJq0HvZapbzfEQLmGQCgnViEXR3s+EHXR+sVKm5QRBIcYUUAoMm/ Rqgh9A7H4Dv+UroAp3SJAOs1 =uvh8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
