[PLUG] resizing a partition

I have a HDD that is roughly 4 gig in size. This was the original
drive I started out with when I was just playing with Linux and
consequently left 1.5 gig for Windows. I don't want that any more. Is
there a sane way to make it all one partition? (with one for swap
obviously). This machine is a workstation, but all data is primarily
stored elsewhere so I won't die if I loose the data, but I was wondering
if anyone new of a way to this. I am not in a position to buy a utility
to do it for me, as I am amongst the jobless now (shameless plug).

thanks
