Re: [PLUG] Power Supply Heat

I have an AMD XP 1700+ at home... i can check the wattage on my power
supply and let you know if you like. (it gets warm, not hot).

Do you mean that you will check the actual power being used by the power supply?

I opened my case and noticed two things that were hot. The CPU and video card were pretty hot. The old Duron ran cool, but the classic Athlon and the Athlon XP seem to run hot.

The voltages are a little off. The -5V line is at -5.54V, which triggers a warning. The threshhold is at -5.49V.
