I think normal Xterm can do TT fonts, but you need XRender enabled...  I saw 
this example some time ago but I forget where it went.

Of course KDE's konsole can do TT fonts too :) but they limit it only to 
monospaced fonts from what I can tell.  Lastly I think eTerm can also do TT 
fonts but again I have never tried that one.
