The USB works fine, it sees the mic on the camera like I said, I also
have a USB to SPDIF (optical) audio out that works fine.

I think this is just ann older archive and they didn't set GPL=TRUE or
whatever in the code, I think that warning means nothing except contact
the vendor.

Also, modprobe doesn't work, but then it doesn't take absolute path
names.  At any rate, you are supposed to run this script, and it just
calls insmod, so you shouldn't need modprobe.
