On a topic similar to my last Acrobat post, I asked a question, about 4 months ago, on Adobe's forums about creating pdf/pdbs for the palm on a Unix platform. I have not yet tried theise suggestions. BTW, it's easy to install the Acrobat Reader PRC onto the Palm using jpilot (and probably a lot of other tools). ---------- Forwarded Message (Originally from lbilyeu) ---------- Subject: Acrobat Reader for Palm OS via Unix Date: Fri, 2 Aug 2002 19:14:43 -0400 From: lbilyeu <lbilyeu@swfla.rr.com> To: arthur@alexion.com Well, I would also like to use AcrobatReader on my palmOS via Unix; but seeing 4 months go by, and how nobody ever responded to you, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. So my I suggest an open-source alternative to Acrobat? Plucker is an open source distiller/reader designed specifically for Palm OS. It works great, and has become one of my most used Palm tools. http://www.plkr.org http://www2.parc.com/istl/members/janssen/pubs/plucker-tour/ And if you do happen to get Acrobat on your palm via Unix, let me know. thanks ------------------------------------------------------- -- _______________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
