I don't have Outlook either. I read Outlook attachments using two
methods:

1. If I have access to my laptop, I boot into Win98 and look at them
using Microsoft's free Outlook Viewer, available somewhere on
    their website.

2. If I don't, then I forward them to a Yahoo Mail account that I
keep for things like this. Yahoo Mail has this nifty "view
attachment" feature which does a nice job of displaying Word and
    Outlook files in HTML.

Hope that helps.
