Sometimes, when I create directories, a text file is also created in the parent directory with the name of the subdirectory and the directory extension. E.g. sub_directory.directory, where sub_directory is the name of the newly created subdirectory. the .directory file is in the parent directory of sub_directory. It is a text file describing the icon position of some, but not all of the files in sub_directory. I think this happens when I create the directory and move some files using Konqueror (kde 2.2). Can these files be safely deleted? -- _______________________________ Art Alexion Arthur S.
