I've had a good overall experience with the Philips PCRW404K, a 4x (it's
4x4x32, if I'm not mistaken) IDE burner (except that the drive would
occasionally hang if I burned many discs before rebooting the system),
and a Lite-On LTR-48125W, which is a 48x12x48 IDE drive (haven't burned
lots of CDs at one go yet).
