Re: [PLUG] Laptop and Wireless on Linux

http://www.linux-wlan.org/

Has the info on support for more recent cards and how to compile to work with card services.

Note that you rarely need these drivers. Most cards are supported out of the box by any new distributions as well as either the mainline kernel or the PCMCIA-CS drivers at http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net. The WLAN drivers have some nifty features but exist out of the kernel tree for a reason.

I just got a new Laptop with a D-link wireless airport card and a D-link
router. Has anyone here had any success with Linux on the Laptop and
wireless ethernet? I searched and I haven't found any support for the Linux
D-links site. I was thinking about setting up a dual boot to test this out
what do you think?
