[PLUG] hard drive troubles

I have a linux formatted hard drive that I pulled out of a pc running 
mandrake and put into a mac running os x, os 9, and yellow dog.  I no longer 
have the pc and need to access the data on the ext2 formatted hard drive.  
For some reason I am unable to mount it under yellow dog and have not found 
a way to access it from my mac partitions.  Any ideas on what I should do?
