I often find myself using 'dir' instead of 'ls' in Linux, and the 
converse 'ls' in DOS.  The worst DOS habit I have is not putting a 
space after 'cd' (i.e. 'cd\arthur' works fine in DOS, but 'cd/arthur' 
does not work like 'cd /arthur' in Linux.)
