Under Debian stable, I have the 2.4.18-686 kernel-image (w/ initrd) running in hopes that it would provide working sis900 on-board lan chipset support. Unfortunately, its not working. Output from modprobe: r2d2:/lib/modules/2.4.18-686/kernel/drivers# modprobe sis900 /lib/modules/2.4.18-686/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters /lib/modules/2.4.18-686/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-686/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.18-686/kernel/drivers/net/sis900.o: insmod sis900 failed : Am I missing something? It is enabled in the bios and it does function under Win2k (on partition /dev/hda1) Thanks in advance. -- Regards, Time 13 \ 9 . 3 clockbot.net / 6 Attachment:
